Stay safe on Weslet

The handful of habits that separate a smooth exchange from the story you read in the groups.

Money

Advance payment to a stranger is the single most common scam on this route. Nobody legitimate needs the full amount before you have met.

Weslet is deliberately not a payment platform: you and the other person arrange everything directly, which means you keep control — and also that we cannot reverse anything. Prefer a split you would both accept if the other person disappeared, and hand over the balance at the meeting.

People

Before you commit, open the other person's public profile. Reviews there come only from confirmed handovers, so they cannot be bought or faked, and the count of completed deliveries tells you how much history they have.

Meet in a public place. Say no to anything that feels off — there is always another traveler and another route, and no deal is worth an uncomfortable meeting.

What is in the bag

A traveler carries a parcel under their own name and answers for it at customs. So: contents always declared honestly, parcel inspected open before it is accepted, and nothing prohibited or restricted — no medication, no cash, nothing you would not declare.
